Símbolo marco dos tempos áureos da borracha em Belém o Theatro da Paz, foi fundado em 1878, e tem como inspiração o Teatro Scalla de Milão (Itália). Sendo um dos primeiros teatros líricos do Brasil. Destacam-se, na decoração, materiais e objetos trazidos da Europa, como o lustre e as estátuas de bronze francesas, o piso de pedras portuguesas e a escadaria em mármore italiano.

A landmark symbol of the rubber heyday in Belém, the Theatro da Paz was founded in 1878, and is inspired by the Teatro Scalla in Milan (Italy). Being one of the first lyric theaters in Brazil. Materials and objects brought from Europe stand out in the décor, such as the French chandelier and bronze statues, the Portuguese stone floor and the Italian marble staircase.
